Information that you provide by filling in forms on our websites.

Your information will be stored on a manual card index system & as digital computer files for accounting purposes.

Please be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data when transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.

Uses made of the information

We use information held about you in the following ways:

We send out e-mails wishing children who have had a cross-stitch sampler created for them a ‘Happy Birthday’.

To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you.

To carry out our obligations arising from orders placed with us.

RAF Cross-stitch Kit – Royal Air Force

Our personalised Royal Air Force (RAF) cross-stitch designs can be charted with various aircraft from the vintage Spitfire & Vulcan’s to the modern fighter jets like the Hurrican & Typhoon. We will add a man in RAF uniform & the Union Jack if required.

Our RAF cross-stitch samplers make a lovely commemorative passout plaque. We can add can add full Name & Rank under the ‘NAME’ together with date of passing out.

Counted cross-stitch teacher

Our cross-stitch teacher can be charted on ‘Any Name’ and supplied as a complete ‘School Days’ themed cross-stitch kit.

Teacher cross-stitch pattern / kit

We can change the color of the child’s uniform, ladies hair, clothes etc.. so the figure resembles the featured teacher. We can also chart our teacher on ‘CAPITAL’lettering, this enables us to add more children in the classroom, busy with their various activities.

School Days cross-stitch pattern / kit

We can chart Surname’s too, for example ‘Mrs Jones’ with the name of the school underneath. This would make a lovely sampler to hang on the teachers classroom wall.

Cross-stitch kits for girls

Girls cross stitch pattern ‘Amelie’ has been charted with our little girl holding her basket of flowers by the pond, the lettering in Tarragon Green DMC471 and we have added Amelie’s date of birth under her ‘Name’.

All our cross-stitch patterns are individually charted and supplied as a complete cross-stitch kit.

The kit contains  – Pre-sorted DMC floss on orgainzer cards, a choice of fabric (14 count Aida, 18 count Aida or 28 count Evenweave), a large full color cross-stitch pattern, DMC key, needle & instructions.

Benefits of carrying a small cross-stitch project in your handbag!

1. It can help ‘pass the time of day‘ whilst on a long journey. It is also a great topic of conversation with fellow passengers! It usually starts off with ‘That looks very complicated, you must have a lot of patience!‘ I usually end up handing it over and letting them have a go!

A small cross-stitch project makes time pass quickly whilst travelling.

2) A small cross-stitch project is a great companion whilst on holiday. You can bring it out whenever you come across a comfy bench with a lovely view and again people always want to see what you are doing, so you’re never on your own for very long!

Whilst I was stitching this sampler (see below) children were fishing for crabs off the sea wall, which made the subject matter so relevant and it did make me smile!

X-stitch is a great companion whilst on holiday, all you need is a comfy bench & a lovely view. 

3) At the end of the day you have a lovely greetings card or small sampler to add to your collection! You can add a child’s ‘Name’ & birth details (at a later date!) to make a mini birth sampler or birthday card. They make lovely gifts!

This letter ‘R’ design is from our ‘Children of Bygone Times‘ alphabet.

Custom designed Wedding Sampler kits

This custom designed cross-stitch wedding sampler was charted for Jane from West Lothian. The wedding of ‘Andrew & Hannah’ took place at Dalhousie Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland on the 13th May 2017.

Jane sent us a photograph of the venue together with a sample of the tartan fabric use on the grooms kilt. The groom was going to be wearing a Scottish kilt of ‘Murray of Athol’ tartan and we were told that the bride would be wearing an ivory dress with a bouquet of lilac & cream flowers.

Dalhousie use an owl as a ring bearer so we included an owl on the design too!

As the wedding was a English / Scottish wedding we added a Scottish thistle & an English rose. The hearts in the corners were taken from the couples ‘Save the Date’ cards.

We think everything has been included to create a beautiful keepsake of the happy occassion.
